Which is your favorite work?
The one I am currently working on!

Well, if I had to choose one, I'd have to say:
EINAR'S RAGNAROK

Although it's a retelling of some of the funniest and most frightening of the Norse myths, it is a very personal play for me, on many levels.
As a first-generation Norwegian-American, my Nordic roots run deep.
Stories passed down through generations have shaped me.
I'm inspired by the humor and tragedy
and yet the hope in the norse myths which I've heard about all my life.
In the play, Einar discovers the end of the world is sometimes the beginning.

This book is a treasured 19th-century copy of the Prose Edda by Nordic skald Snorri Sturluson. It has been in our family for years. As a young girl, my mother used to press flowers in it - it's so heavy!

It is a beautiful reminder to me of the power of stories and is the inspiration behind my character Einar, a poet who cannot write...
